Our final port and end of our cruise

Today was our day or departure from our awesome cruise and we came back through the beautiful Venice canals and what a sight it is seeing that. We had our final brekkie and that was mayhem and then off the boat about 9.30am. The hotel we stayed at the day before our cruise the AC Marriot allowed us to store our luggage there which was awesome and we spent the day walking around Venice again which was nice - got ripped off for lunch just cos we sat down at their cafe - 25 euros for 2 sandwiches , coffee and Diet Coke - Diet Coke was 6 euros!!!! Then it was off to the airport which we caught the bus just near the hotel which was 8 euros each (much cheaper than our 40 euro cab fare originally for 15 min drive) and got on our Aegean flight to Athens. We were staying at the Faroe hotel in Piraeus close to the port so we could get the ferry to Mykonos the next day. But alas the ferry seaman decide to strike on the3rd September being the day we were going. The hotel Faros was full so got one round the corner Poseidono Hotel for the.next night.
