Day 4 Lucerne to Venice

Well another early start and we headed to Mount Stanserhorn which is 6350 feet above sea level and we took an old electric train half way up and then cable cars right to this very high mountain. What an amazing view of the city of Lucerne - breathtaking!! From there we headed to Venice via Milan and caught a boat round to Venice island and from there we did a gondola ride with music and an opera singer serenading us on our trip. We then had a couple of hours for dinner and shopping then back to the bus via water taxi along the grand canal. Tonight we stayed at the Novotel on the mainland of Venice .
