Day in London Town

 

Well very busy day today exploring London. Up early 6.00am to be exact so got ready and headed for our buffet breakfast in the hotel. Then walked across Waterloo bridge past Big Ben and off to Buckingham Palace. Luckily we were here at a time that you can go inside the palace - only open August and September so we got to see all the state rooms and had an audio to explain all about the palace areas we went thru. After our tour we headed back to Leicestor Square through the Green park and allowing Picadillt Road past Picadilly circus intersection. We lined up for the discounted tickets for the shows and managed to get tickets to The Motown Musical - awesome show!! After the show we headed back to the hotel via Covent garden where it was all happening - buskers everywhere so much atmosphere. Then back through Southbank past the London eye and it's all happening there too. A beautiful sunny day which was really nice so made it easier to get around. Early night tonight before our tour starts tomorrow down in the lobby at 5.45am yikes!!
